Кузьмин Я. В. Колин Ренфрю и геоархеология: заметки очевидца

Резюме. Очерк посвящён биографии и научной деятельности Колина Ренфрю, одного из лидеров мировой археологии в 1970–2010-х гг. Дан анализ вклада К. Ренфрю в два направления геоархеологии: 1) изучение с помощью геохимических методов источников обсидиана и обмена/торговли в доисторическое время в Средиземноморье и на Ближнем Востоке; 2) применение радиоуглеродного метода в археологии и анализ концепций доисторического развития Европы. Рассказывается о встречах автора c Колином Ренфрю в период с 2001 г. по 2019 г.
